Talking Tower Tours
Learn about Smith Tower’s storied past which includes connections to radio, rum-running, and a host of interesting characters and fabled stories. Tours are offered every hour.
TALKING TOWER TOURS INCLUDE:
- 45-minute guided tour of the exhibits, elevators, 35th floor Observatory, and main lobby
- Souvenir postcard ticket with stamp
Private Group Tower Tours
Groups of 10 or more receive discounted ticket rates to experience breathtaking sights from Seattle’s original skyscraper, and we can accommodate up to 40 guests for group dining.

Group Dining
Searching for the perfect spot to host your next birthday party, happy hour, or girls’ night out? Kick your next group outing up a notch with a trip to Smith Tower. Group dining is available for 10-40 guests, and includes:
- No ticket or admission fees for you and your guests. Food and beverage minimum required for booking reservation.
- Access to a historic Otis elevator that will take you and your guests to the Observatory, where your reserved section awaits.
- Semi-private, reserved space with mixed soft seating and reception-style furniture in the thirty-fifth-floor Observatory.
- Buffet-style hors d’oeuvres and cash or hosted bar options.
- A dedicated cocktail server so your guests never have to wait at the bar.
- Reserved seating reception-style for up to 40 guests, with two large communal-style tables for buffet food service.
