Chinese New Year Specials

Celebrate Chinese New Year in the Iconic Chinese Room. Step into history and ring in the Year of the Snake at the Observatory Bar, located in Smith Tower’s legendary Chinese Room. Home to the famed Wishing Chair, gifted by the Empress Dowager Cixi of China, the Chinese Room is steeped in rich cultural heritage and ornate design. To honor this legacy, we’re serving up special cocktails inspired by Chinese New Year traditions throughout the 15-day celebration, starting Wednesday, January 29th. Raise a glass to good fortune, breathtaking views, and the perfect blend of history, tradition, and festive flavors. Plan your visit and toast to the Year of the Snake in a setting unlike any other.

Celebrate love at one of Downtown Seattle's most romantic destinations—Smith Tower. Indulge in a special three-course prix-fixe dinner on the iconic 35th Floor, featuring thoughtfully crafted dishes that are as delightful as the view.

Begin your evening with a choice of Caesar Salad or rich Crab Bisque. For the main course, savor Lovely Risotto and Chicken, or delight in Pan-Seared Halibut with fingerling potatoes and broccolini. Vegetarian? Swap the halibut for a flavorful Pan-Seared Portobello Mushroom. End on a sweet note with Strawberry Panna Cotta or Vegan Chocolate Cake with Raspberry Sauce.

Dinner is $75 per person, plus tax. Choose from two seatings: 6:00 PM or 8:30 PM. Non-alcoholic beverages are included, with cocktails, wine, and more available for purchase.

Our cocktail classes offer a hands-on demonstration led by our amazing bartending team, complete with all the equipment and ingredients you’ll need to make fantastic craft Smith Tower style cocktails. Each class has a different theme and cocktail lineup. Perfect for a date night, friends’ night out, or team-building activity.
