Tickets are available at the Observatory check-in (right next to Caffe Vita) or skip the line and buy online anytime.
Important Details:
- Your ticket includes access to both the Observatory Bar and the historical exhibit experience—featuring L.C. Smith’s original typewriters and curated artifacts from Smith Tower’s storied past, offering a glimpse into Seattle’s early 20th-century legacy.
- Straight Up to Golden Hour Discount – From 4PM until the last elevator, Observatory and Bar tickets are just $15 every day
- Locals $10 Discount – Locals get $10+ tickets Sunday–Thursday with valid Washington State ID.
- Game Day $10 Deal – Present your same-day sports ticket and enjoy Observatory admission starting at just $10+.
- Last admission is one hour before the Observatory Bar closes. Please see hours below.
- During peak times, wait times range from 15 minutes to 1.5 hours. As a courtesy to other guests, we are unable to seat your group in our Observatory Bar until all members of your party have arrived.
- Ride free and easy through summer! The Free Waterfront Shuttle runs through mid-September with a stop at Occidental Square—only 3 minutes from Smith Tower.
