Smith Tower has been the grand dame of the Emerald City for over 110 years! Join us as we celebrate Seattle’s original skyscraper with a bevy of events and special celebration moments over the next few months.
Speakeasy Soiree
Saturday, September 21 | 7 – 10 p.m. | $110 per person
Join us for a soiree as we toast to the history of Smith Tower! Your ticket includes time to explore the exhibits and learn about the history of Smith Tower before a quick ride takes you to the 35th floor Observatory and Bar. Enjoy signature cocktails and delicious bites as you take in the view or dance to live music- your first drink is on us!

Join us for two exclusive cocktail classes that will take your bartending skills to new heights! In celebration of Smith Tower’s 110th Anniversary, we have partnered with two world- renowned brands to bring you a unique mixology experience.
September 19 – Hennessy
October 3 – Woodinville Whiskey
Learn the secrets behind crafting exquisite cocktails from a seasoned mixologist, using the finest of flavors. 21+ only event. Admission includes gratuity. Class begins at 6 p.m.
Smith Tower 110th Anniversary Signature Cocktail

What is a celebration without a signature cocktail? The Pioneer Square: a crafted blend that captures the essence of Smith Tower for over a century– elegant, bold, and unforgettable and the neighborhood it stands tall in. It is a toast to 110 years of timeless charm and Seattle’s original neighborhood.
Our $110 cocktail is inspired by a Vieux Carre. The Vieux Carre is traditionally made with Rye Whisky, Cognac, Benedictine, vermouth and bitters. The Whisky and Cognac will be represented in ours by none other than Woodinville and Hennessy.
Available starting September 21st in the Bar through the end of 2024, or while ingredients last, as we toast to 110 years!
Get Creative with Smith Tower
Calling all young artists and history enthusiasts! To celebrate the 110th Anniversary of Seattle’s iconic Smith Tower, we’re hosting a Kid’s Coloring Contest.
HOW TO ENTER:
- Download or Pick Up the Coloring Page: Grab your crayons, markers, colored pencils, or any of your favorite art tool, and let you imagination run wild as you bring Smith Tower to life.
- Submit Your Artwork: Once your coloring page is complete, fill out the entry form and drop it off at the Smith Tower Visitor Experience to receive a Smith Tower bookmark as an entry prize. You can also mail us your entry.
PRIZES:
- Grand Prize: The winning artwork will be framed and featured in the Smith Tower Visitor Experience, and the artists will receive a special Smith Tower prize pack, including tickets and a private Talking Tour for four.
- All entries dropped off at Smith Tower Visitor Experience will receive a Smith Tower bookmark.
DEADLINE: October 15, 2024
- Drop off completed drawings between September 1 and October 15, 2024 to be considered for the grand prize. Winners will be announced by October 25, 2024.

Ready, Set, Color!
Echoes of the Past: An Ode to Roy Olmstead
Calling all history buffs or those interested in the stories of Smith Tower and Seattle during the rum running days of prohibition. Join us for a two-part speaker series where you will learn all things Olmstead. Dress in your finest 1920s garb as we take you back to the era of Prohibition. You will be treated to an educational and engaging evening fill with commentary and storytelling courtesy of Steve Edminston.
