HEALTH PRECAUTIONS AT SMITH TOWER

The wellbeing of our team members and guests is of paramount importance for us here at Smith Tower. In light of COVID-19, we have upped our sanitation standards even further so you can feel comfortable and confident while dining and roaming through our historical exhibits and taking in the 360-degree views of Seattle in our speakeasy-style bar.

Here are some of the increased efforts we're doing to adjust with the times:

  • Conducted weekly trainings/meetings with our team to keep everyone informed on protocols
  • Created new checklists for each department to ensure sanitizing is thorough and consistent, and more frequent
  • Increasing the number of customer-accessible hand sanitizing stations at primary entrances and high-traffic locations like elevators, lobbies, and tables
  • Utilizing highly effective and sustainable Ecolab cleaning products to clean and disinfect

Through our management company, Columbia Hospitality, we've partnered with Ecolab, a global leader in infection prevention, to take our already stringent safety and sanitation protocols to the next level through the Columbia Clean program.

Columbia Clean

  • Increasing the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing culinary tools and kitchen work areas, along with team members wearing personal protective equipment, sanitizing POS systems between uses, and more.
  • Enhancing cleaning and sanitation standards throughout shared spaces, common areas, heart-of-house spaces and more.
  • De-cluttering paper and other amenities, such as pen, paper, magazines etc. and supplementing with digital options or providing amenities upon request.
