Whew! What a Halloween.

Our 2nd annual Zom-Bees Knees Bash was… well… the bee’s knees.

It was a big success, and we’ve got the photos to prove it.

But now Halloween is over and done, and you know what that means:

It’s oh-ficially the start of the holiday season.

The most wonderful time of the year and all that jazz.

No literally, we’ve got jazz events coming up during the holidays where you can celebrate the season in style.

Balboa Blues & Booze is happening the first Monday of both November and December.

On November 5, we’ve got The Rainieros in the house for a night of western swing and honky tonk.

Then, on December 3, we’ve got the Greg Ruby Trio coming in to get your feet tappin’ with vintage jazz.

And it’s not just events that are new.

We’ve got two new November cocktail specials to add a little flair to your season’s greetings.

First up, it’s the Fireside Folly¬†(left).

Camus VSOP cognac
Laird’s Applejack
BroVo Jammy vermouth
Cherry Heering
Orange bitters
Garnished with an orange zest

Then, from our barrel-aged program, we’ve got El Presidente.

Don Q Cristal Light Rum
Rhum Barbancourt
Torres Orange Liqueur
Dolin Blanc
House-Made Grenadine

Two rich cocktails that sing the praises of the great indoors during this rainy, blustery season.
